Day 4 - Travel to Dublin...and...Oh, Just Guess

Today was plains, trains and automobile day to get to Dublin, Ireland. We took two taxies to the train station in downtown Bolton in order to get to the Manchester International Airport. At the airport, our plane was delayed for almost 2 hours so we had a lot of waiting to do...
We then flew to Dublin, Ireland and rode a shuttle bus from the Dublin Airport to our hotel, Jury's Inn.
After settling into our hotel rooms, John, Jeff, Z and Eileen went bar crawling through Dublin while Tammy took a nap to try to shake off a little cold it seemed she was getting. We stopped at The Porter House brewing company where the boys had some of the smoothest beer they ever tasted.
Next was Brogan's Bar where we realized that the Guinness in Dublin is better than the Guinness in Bolton/Manchester which is better than the Guinness in the U.S.
Last stop before meeting back up with Tammy was O'Brien's pub where everyone had even more of this great Guinness and some heated hot nuts (chili nuts).
After meeting Tammy at the hotel, we went to Wagamama...a japanese noodle bar where we had some really good ramen noodle soup and other Japanese noodle dishes. Yum!
Then it was back to bar crawling again. We went to the Hairy Lemon and sat upstairs in a cave like quiet area...
...then to the Stag's Head...
...where more Guinness was consumed...
...then to the Dame Tavern.
At the Dame Tavern, there were some locals in the corner playing Irish music with violins, guitars and flutes.

After stopping to take these silly pictures of Jeff...
...our last stop for the night was The Castle Inn Pub where we watched the Bolton professional football (soccer) team play and Z talked to a local about the U.S. and Ireland...
